How a first contact works
A short message describing the situation — for example, a property in Brazil, an inheritance involving heirs abroad, or a flight problem during a trip — is enough for a first assessment. There is no cost or obligation for this initial exchange.
If documents are already available (a deed, a death certificate, a flight ticket, a contract), they can be shared digitally. Nothing needs to be sent by mail.
What to expect next
- A first assessment of the situation based on what is shared
- An explanation of the possible next steps under Brazilian law
- Whether the matter can proceed remotely or requires a document (such as a power of attorney) for in-person steps
